Jacqueline Fernandez was born in Manama and raised by an ethnically diverse, multiracial family. Jacqueline Fernandez's mother Kim and her father Elroy are both Malaysians. The show she hosts, Lanka Business Report, covers Sri Lankan business. Padukone was her mother was the famous badminton player Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and raised in Bangalore. When she was in her teens she competed in national championships of badminton at both the regional and international level. She later quit the sport to make a profession as a designer. Padukone is a native of Mangalore, Indian. The language she speaks is Konkani is her origin. Her ancestors hail from the town of Padukone located in Kundapura Taluk, in the Udupi district of Karnataka state in India. Prakash Padukone is her father and a former badminton star who has international acclaim. Her mother is a travel agent.
